Learning Outcomes

The student gets familiar with the basic concepts and means of marketing communication and understands the importance of communication in the objectives of the organization. He/she will get familiar with creating communication strategies and corporate image. HE/she will be able to write texts that are flawless, natural and formal.

Contents

Image, PR, information services, internal communication and administrative communication. Process of personnel magazine. The role on marketing communication, media relations, planning and analysis of copywrite. Language will also be paid attention to.

Lectures, exercises, visits, organisation and implementation of a marketing event.

1=Understands the role of organizational communication. Produces basic text used in working life. Participates in project work.
3=Understands the role of organizational communication and marketing communication and strategies of communication. Produces basic text used in working life and uses styles according to situation and target group. Participates actively in project work.
5=Understands and is able to apply and justify organizational communication and produces communication strategies. Produces good quality text used in working life and uses styles according to situation and target group in excellent Finnish. Participates actively and productively in project work.
