Learning Outcomes

The student learns to combine information from various subject matters in various phases of motor control project. The student also learns to act as a responsible member of a project team.

Student's Workload

Total work load of the course: 54 h.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

Common core themes: Automation, Electric Drives, Control Logic

Contents

Subject matters from various study units are combined into a bigger entity in the project. The topic is e.g. the comprehensive design of a motor drive. The design includes the motor, a smart control for a motor starter and rating of a frequency converter. The entity will be made functional by integrating a logic control and control room implementation.
