Learning Outcomes

The students knows
- Basics of scientific research methods and justufy their use
- How to evaluate scientific research reports from sciens' principles perspective
- How to Evaluate research method's ethics and validity
- The phases of the process to write research raport

Student's Workload

Amount of work altogether 162 h, of which 66 h of contact hours and 96 h of independent study.
The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

- How to use statistical and qualitative research methods under guidance
- How to write scientific text under guidance; the structure, style and language are on sufficient level

Grade 3: the student knows
- How to apply and utilize statistical and qualitative research methods
- Write scientific text using references; the structure, style and language are on good level

Grade 5: the student knows
- How to apply and analyze statistical and qualitative research methods
- Write versatile scientific text using diverce reange of references ; the structure, style and language are on excellent level

Active participation, passing the given assignments. Grading scale (0–5).
