Learning Outcomes
The student has to master mathematical methods required in tourism and catering, both from the perspective of practical work and of administration.
Contents
Applications of percentage calculation, wages, taxes, loans, pricing, portion calculations and portion cards, currencies.

Assessment Criteria
5 The student masters versatilely and safely the core mathematical methods within tourism and hospitality and is able to interpret and compare the results in a well grounded manner. The student is also able to expand his knowledge outside of the boundaries of the theoretical context.
3 The student masters the core mathematical methods within tourism and hospitality and is able to evaluate the results. The student is also able to apply the central methods in different situations.
1 The student is able to find the correct method of calculation in the most central mathematical problems within tourism and hospitality. The student knows the central terminology needed in solving these problems.
