Learning Outcomes
The student comes to know understanding of the importance of information security, learns about the most common security issues, learns how to use the most common security testing programs, and learns the principles of secure work in an ICT environment.

Contents
Basics of modern security, most common security issues, security testing methods, safe working in an ICT environment.

Material provided by the teacher.
Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
Exercises in a computer class. In addition to rehearsals, short lectures. The exercises will be evaluated.
Assessment Criteria
Grade 5: The student shows that they can master the course contents excellently and they have adopted the principles of cyber safe working in the ICT environment.
Grade 3: The student masters the course contents at a reasonable level and they know how to work in a cyber safe way in the ICT environment.
Grade 1: The student knows the principles of cyber safe working and recognizes the most common cyber security risks and hazards.
Assessment Methods
Programming exercises 50 %, mini quizzes 30 % and a final examination/project 20 %.
