Learning Outcomes

The student understands the role of the management of environmental, quality and health and safety issues as a part of sustainable business. The student is familiar with the common management standards and develops abilities to build standard-based management systems.

Sustainable business. Management systems and standards for environmental, quality and health and safety issues, combined management systems.

Material provided by the teacher. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Marttinen, Saastamoinen & Suvanto. Yrityksen ympäristövastuut, Kauppakaari 2000 or newer.

Lectures, teamworking, written assignments, presentations, company visit/visitors.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 1: The student knows those subjects of the course, which are necessary for the forthcoming studies and working life.
Grade 3: The student is well-abled to utilize the course contents.
Grade 5: The student is able to apply creatively the contents of the course.
