Osaamistavoitteet
The course is aimed at students who wish to extend their existing knowledge of the Finnish language. It equips the students with the necessary communicative skills to be able to cope in Finnish in various situations both in the work place and socially.

Sisältö
Revision of basic vocabulary and structures, supplementary words and phrases with emphasis on everyday situations, specialised professional vocabulary of the students own field of study.

Oral and written exercises based on the course material, pairwork, presentations, assignments.
Arviointikriteerit
Grade 1: The student has a satisfactory command of the language both orally and in writing
Grade 3: The student has a good command of the language both orally and in writng and he/she can apply his/her skills in practice
Grade 5: The student has an excellent command of the language both orally and in writing and he/she can apply his/her skills in a versatile manner.
