Sisältö

Definition of guidance. Legal and ethical perspectives on guidance. Identifying guidance needs: client/patient resources, recognizing needs, motivation, and learning barriers with support methods. Client-/patient-centered and solution-focused approaches. Guidance methods: group and individual guidance; informational, social, emotional, and cultural guidance; written guidance, skill guidance, family guidance, student guidance, Teach-Back method; remote guidance via digital services; Guided self-care model (Frontline Therapies) and motivational interviewing.

Arviointimenetelmät

Numeric grading scale 0–5. Includes group work, self- and peer-assessments (1–5). Completion of Guided Self-care online course (pass/fail). Peer feedback and teacher feedback provided during sessions and group work presentations.
