Osaamistavoitteet
Select and define a thesis topic with justification and prepare a plan including introduction, purpose and objectives, theoretical basis, implementation, ethics and reliability, and schedule and resource plan.
Identify key research and development approaches (qualitative, quantitative, functional, descriptive literature review) and apply the chosen method in thesis planning.
Evaluate the reliability and ethical aspects of the chosen method.

Sisältö
Key phases of thesis planning and structure: introduction, purpose and objectives, theoretical basis, implementation, ethics and reliability, schedule and resources. Research and development approaches: qualitative, quantitative, functional, and descriptive literature review. Principles of the chosen methodological approach: data collection, analysis, product design, or information retrieval. Ethical and reliability considerations in research and development work.

Pass:
Prepares a complete and structured thesis plan including all required sections.
Demonstrates understanding of research and development approaches and applies the chosen method appropriately.
Evaluates ethical and reliability aspects of the chosen method.
Participates in required sessions and completes all assignments on time.
Fail:
Does not submit a complete thesis plan or omit key sections.
Fails to demonstrate understanding of research and development approaches.
Does not address ethical or reliability aspects.
Does not participate in mandatory sessions or complete assignments.
