Osaamistavoitteet

Students will gain the understanding of foundational concepts and advanced knowledge of supply chain management in a global context. Students will familiarize themselves to the unique characteristics of international supply chains, investigate the strategies for effective partner management, and assess the impacts of the global environment on supply chain operations. Future trends and innovations in supply chain management are also examined to prepare students for evolving industry demands. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: Understand and apply basic and advanced supply chain management concepts in international contexts. Analyze the characteristics of global supply chains and develop strategies to address their complexities. Manage relationships with supply chain partners to optimize performance and collaboration. Evaluate the impacts of global trends, including economic, environmental, and technological factors, on supply chains. Anticipate and respond to emerging trends and innovations in supply chain management.
