Osaamistavoitteet
Advanced special studies contain obligatory professionally oriented courses. The student chooses two 20-credit modules in their major and one 15-credit module in their minor. The total amount of advanced special studies is thus 55 credits. There are two alternatives for the major: software engineering (the first two modules) and embedded systems (the third and the fourth module). Networking Technology is recommended for the minor, but the student can replace it with another 15-credit minor module if one sees it wise for their future career. After the advanced special studies, the student should be ready for the thesis.
