Lectures and in-class pair and group exercises; homework reading, writing and listening exercises.
Arviointikriteerit
Grade 5: The student produces professional, largely error-free texts, uses AI writing tools critically and effectively, participates in discussions spontaneously and in detail, and presents information in a clear and structured way.
Grade 3: The student knows the essential vocabulary and understands the main points of texts, produces generally professional-sounding texts, uses AI writing tools critically and effectively, participates in discussions spontaneously, and presents information in a structured way.
Grade 1: The student knows basic vocabulary, understands the main points of texts, produces understandable texts, uses AI writing tools (if at all) critically and effectively, understands discussions pertaining to work and the field the study, and can give presentations in English.
Arviointimenetelmät
A job application writing task, a presentation, and a capstone report writing task. Other requirements for passing the course are regular participation in classes and completion of at least 75% of exercises and assignments.
