Learning Outcomes

The student gets acquainted with analytical techniques used in environmental laboratories, especially solution analysis. Also included is microbiological analysis. The student learns to evaluate and treat experimental data and to produce reports on them.

Student's Workload

Total work load of the student 54 h, of which scheduled studies 28 h an autonomous studies 26 h.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Laboratory exercises and related reporting performed in groups. Every laboratory session is preceded by an introductory lecture on the theory and techniques needed in the exercise.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 1: The student knows those subjects of the course, which are necessary for the forthcoming studies and working life.

Grade 3: The student is well-abled to utilize the course contents.

Grade 5: The student is able to apply creatively the contents of the course.

Assessment Methods

Numeric assessment on basis of the laboratory reports.
