Learning Outcomes

The student learns to produce 3D-graphics and 3D-animations: 3D-modelling, texturing, lighting, rendering and using camera in 3D productions. The student learns the methods and tools of 3D and suiting 3D-models for the purpose.

Total work load of the course: 135 h
The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

The student learns the principles, techniques and production methods of 3D-graphics, the modelling andanimation of 2D- and 3-D models. The student can edit, import and export 3D-models and can use 2D- and 3D-models, cameras, lights and materials and create 3D-animations.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lectures and virtual exercises in net 75 h and projectwork 60 h.

Assessment Criteria

5 = The student can use excellent the different tools of production in 3D-animation and 3D-graphics and understands the principles of 3D-graphics. The student has shown excellent capability to put knowledge into practice.
3 = The student can use well the different tools of production in 3D-animation and 3D-graphics and understands the principles of 3D-graphics. The student has shown capability to put knowledge into practice.
1 = The student can use the different tools of production in 3D-animation and 3D-graphics and understands the principles of 3D-graphics.

Assessment Methods

The exercises and the production work (100 %) are graded numerically (0-5).
