Learning Outcomes
The Student learns a process of thesis work, research principles and operating methods. The Student chooses the topic of his/her thesis and become familiar with their own subject by choosing the appropriate research approach and research methods. The student plans and implements his / her thesis as far as possible and and follow the instructions of the thesis. Student learns a research reporting and the writing of the thesis.

Total work load of the course 108 h scheduled, linquistic and autonomous studies.
Contents
Philosophical approaches to research. Research ethics. Information searching and processing (includes also the subject searching procedures taught by the librarian). Forming of the theoretical framework of an empirical study/development work. Writing of a study plan/development work plan. Data collection methods. Implementation of a project and work procedures.
Refreshing the instructions for thesis. Making a schedule and the planning of a personal project for final thesis. The study unit gives support in proceeding with the work if already initiated.

The course content takes into account the region's businesses in the energy sector when choosing the topic of thesis.
