Learning Outcomes
After completing the course, you will understand key concepts related to switching and routing. You will be able to perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting, identify and mitigate LAN security threats, and configure and secure a simple wireless LAN (WLAN). You will acquire the following core skills: configuring a Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) and inter-VLAN routing, setting up a redundant switch and router network, implementing automatic address allocation (DHCPv4), and dynamic address allocation in IPv6 networks. You will configure switch security to mitigate LAN attacks and set static and default routes on a router. Additionally, you will be able to troubleshoot related issues.
Student's Workload
