Learning Outcomes

Having completed the course, the student can combine oral and written skills as part of their expertise. The student can communicate in an appropriate way in various speaking and writing situations. The student can produce technical texts that are appropriate in contents, form and language.

The total workload is 81 hours, of which 30 hours scheduled contact teaching.

Contents

The student does exercises on language guidance and usage, draws up technical documents and reports. The student gives a presentation, considering the criteria set for the presentation.

Contact teaching, partly online. Lectures, independent studies and pair and group work.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5: The student recognises and knows how to apply and justify linguistic choices in various text types. The student produces texts in excellent and faultless language and makes choices regarding the style based on the situation and target group.
Grade 3: The student recognises and knows how to apply linguistic choices in various text types. The student produces texts in good and almost faultless language and makes choices regarding the style based on the situation and target group.
Grade 1: The student recognises various text types and linguistic choices related to these. The student produces basic texts in almost faultless language.

Active participation, exercises, exam or corresponding assignment.
