Learning Outcomes

After the course student understands the basics of electrochemical energy storage. The student also has a good grasp of various battery chemistries and how to choose the correct one for the application.

135 hours, with 50 hours of contact teaching.

Contents

Basic electrochemistry and the applicability to batteries, electrochemical measurements, electrochemical energy storages, the materials of Li-ion batteries now and in the future, and the other non-active components of Li-ion batteries.
