Learning Outcomes
After finishing the course the student will be able to combine writing and oral communication skills as part of her expertise. She is able to communicate in a meaningful way in different written and spoken situations. The student is able to write adequate technical documents, considering the content, style and language. The student is capable of giving and accepting constructive feedback.

81 h, which contains 42 h of scheduled contact studies at VAMK and 24 h at UVA.

Contents
The student makes grammar exercises and writes technical documents and business letters. She gives oral presentations and get oriented in meeting- and negotiation technique.

Meeting and negotiation literature is given by the teacher.
Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
Studies in the classroom and partly online (the written part). The studies includes individual work, working in pairs and teamwork.
Assessment Criteria
Grade 5: The student is able to communicate self-guided, goal orientated and without making mistakes in different situations in his/her working life.
Grade 3: The student is able to communicate by following instructions and with rather few mistakes in different situations in his/her working life.
Grade 1: The student is able to communicate by following instructions in different situations in his/her working life.
