Learning Outcomes

The student will get familiar with the functions of Vaasa University of Applied Sciences, the learning environment and learning community as well as the professional image of his/her own field. The student will learn the structure of his degree programme and its requirement and draws up his/her own study plan. The student will learn to use various information services. The student will commit to the studies, take responsibility for his/her work, and plan the studies with future working life in mind.

Student's Workload

Students' work load 54 h, containing 20 h of contact studies.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

The learning environment and the support services (Winha, study guidance and students financial aid, RABL procedure, feedback systems) international affairs services, virtual studies, library and information services and students' union. One's own degree programme (incl. specialised professional studies) and study methods, job descriptions in the field.
