Learning Outcomes
The student will further develop their Swedish skills and get familiar with administrative and legal Swedish terminology and language needed in various communication situations in working life.
Student's Workload
Total work 81 h of which 30 h in the classroom and 51 h independent work.
The assessment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Texts related to the study field, working life communication, vocabulary development, oral and written exercises, field-related content.

Lessons in class and independent work. Reading, listening, writing, group discussions and presentations.
Assessment Criteria
Grade 1:
The student can participate in predictable working life communication situations. The student is able to use simple structures and work-related words and expressions. The attitude toward learning Swedish is positive.
Grade 3:
The student manages fairly well in the most common predictable working life situations. The student is able to use different grammatical structures and phrases in work-related communication. The student has a fairly good command of vocabulary of his/her own field. The attitude toward learning Swedish is positive.
Grade 5:
The student is able to communicate on an advanced level. The student can interact fluently in different work-related situations and has an excellent command of grammatical structures and vocabulary. The attitude toward learning Swedish in positive. The student has an interest in improving his/her skills all the time.
Assessment Methods
Continuous process assessment, final discussions and written exam.
