Learning Outcomes

The goal of this course is to introduce the key fundamental
concepts of usability and accessibility.

After completing the course, the student:

• understands and can apply the principles of usability.
• is familiar with the principles of information architecture and
learns how to organize and present information clearly and
understandably.
• understands the importance of accessibility in digital services.

1-2:
The student
• recognizes the basic concepts of usability and understands
their significance.
• is able to describe the basic principles of information
architecture.
• recognizes the basic concepts of accessibility and their
importance.
• is able to describe simple usability issues and propose
improvements

3-4:
The student
• has a deeper understanding of usability principles and can
apply them in practical design tasks.
• is able to design and explain the principles of information
architecture in more complex applications.
• recognizes various accessibility challenges and can design
solutions to address them.
• is able to evaluate usability through usability testing and adjust
the design accordingly.

5:
The student
• demonstrates a deep understanding of usability principles and
is able to apply them in various user interface contexts.
• understands complex information architectures and justifies
their choices from a user experience perspective.
• demonstrates strong expertise in accessibility design and can
integrate accessibility into a broader design process.
• is capable of independently conducting comprehensive user
testing and analyzing results to further develop the design.
