Learning Outcomes
The aim of the course is to give basic skills for making database queries and maintaining a relational database.
Upon completion of the course the student
• understands the operating principle of relational databases,
the meaning of tables and columns, and their dependencies.
• can make queries to the tables of a relational database using
the SQL language.
• can design and implement a simple relational database using
a database program and the SQL language.
