Learning Outcomes
After completing the course, the student will understand the
basics of operating systems, be able to install and configure
programs and features, and effectively use the command line.
The course covers topics such as file systems, file structures,
program installation and configuration, and the fundamentals of
using a terminal and its command line.
Upon completion of the course the student:
• understand the basics of using an operating system
• can install and configure software
• can use the command line

The student is proficient in using operating system features, installing and configuring software, and utilizing the command
line.

The student is able to use advanced operating system features, install and configure complex software, and utilize the
command line extensively.
