Learning Outcomes

Student understands following things:
- The structure of numbers systems and how they are presented in computers.
- The basics of classical mathematical logic.
- The basics of crypting.
- The basics of probability theory.

Contents

Number systems, classical logic, truth tables, crypting, basic probability, normal and binomial distribution.

The examples in the course follow the special aspects of local industry.

Examples emphasize international differences in the calculations of financial problems.
