Learning Outcomes

The student understands server procedures and their special features. The student is able to design and implement a database solution for multiple users with the chosen application. The student is able to designs a net application utilizing the database.

Contents

Special characteristics of distributed systems. Software architectures. Design and implementation of a web application.

Lectures and exercises 60h, web-based learning 60h, project 15h.

Assessment Criteria

5=The Student is able to apply his skills and utilize the latest standards and techniques in similar environments. At least 75% of the application exercise is completed.
3= The Student can use his skills in similar environments. At least 50% of the application exercise is completed.
1= The Student understands the required competence and techniques used in planning and implementing a web based application. At least 25% of the application exercise is completed.

Exercises and assignment. Numerical assessment (0-5).
