Learning Outcomes

The student is familiar with the principles of management and leadership activities in a goal-oriented organization. She/He understands the significance of recognizing one´s identity as a basis for self-management and dissimilarity of personalities as a basis for the management of organization and for leadership of people.

Student's Workload

60 hours of lectures and assigments and 21 hours for readings
The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Role and tasks of the superior in an organization, development of organizational theories, company values, management styles, influencing people, self-management, development of organization and advancing the well-being of the working community.

Regional Impact

The course provides understanding of leadership and management so that students can master well superior positions in the organizations of the region.

Internationality

The multicultural setting of the course encourages the internationalization of both domestic and foreign students.
