Learning Outcomes

The introduction to Finnish legislation will give the student a basic knowledge of the Contract Act and the Law of Obligations. The student gets acquainted with the partners in connection with contracts and understands the obligations in relation to a contract. The course will also familiarise the student with promissory notes and personal and real security.

Contents

The parties of a contract, procedures involved when drawing up and determinating a contract, conditions, invalidity of a contract, obligations , promissory notes and security.

Regional Impact

The student will develop her/his ability to work within the regions energisector in duties which demands knowledge in Contractual Legislation.

Internationality

The student will understand the difference between national legislation and the international legislation ja the EU.
