Learning Outcomes

• Is able to work according to the values and ethics in nursing as well as according to the directions given to them. The
student is able to evaluate the execution of these values and ethics in their day-to-day functioning in different nursing
settings
• Is capable of working according to the current legislation and information provided to them
• Begins to develop the professional identity of a nurse and is committed to the principles of a service occupation
• Is capable of working as a nursing expert
• Takes responsibility of the consequences of their own work
• Understands the difference between private and professional communication on social media
• Is able to detect and prevent unprofessional work
• Understands the role of nursing in developing evidence based action
• Understands the role of evidence based action in nursing
• Is able to use databases and research engines when searching for information on the web for updated information on
nursing and health promotion. The student is capable of using this information in their profession when in contact with
the patient/client

The student

- is able to act according the professional legislation and ethical codes as well as to evaluate them in nursing
practice.

- is able to analyze ethical problems individually
- is able to search and use multiple relevant source materials using multiple demanding techniques
- is able to make flawless references in the text and prepare a flawless reference list
- is able to find the most relevant information from scientific sources and evaluate it critically

Grade 3
The student
- is able to relate the value ground, the ethical principles and the core concepts of nursing ethics to nursing practice.
- is able to act according the professional legislation and ethical codes and acknowledges them in nursing practice.
- respects the human rights
- is able to discuss ethical problems individually
- is able to search and use relevant source materials using multiple techniques
