Learning Outcomes

The student will become familiar with the operations of Vaasa Polytechnic, the learning environment and learning community as well as the degree programmes and learning methods. The student will learn to draw up his/her own study plan and use various information services.

and autonomous studies 27 h
The assesment of student's own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

The student will:
- get familiar the facilities in the school, both pysical and virtual
- get familiar with work tools and virtual environments needed in the studies
- get to know the ICT branch and the professions and roles that are waiting for him/her in the working life
