Learning Outcomes

This course introduces the student to general concept of leadership and project management. Students will become familiar with planning, organizing and controlling project and will be introduced to the practical knowledge of project scope, schedule, cost and resource allocation. Students will also explore issues related to the role of leadership in teams and project groups

Contents

The course familiarizes students with corporate IT development projects and their implementation as disciplined and well managed projects. The course contains issues regarding project management, project initiation and planning, project management, project termination, profitability, risks, quality and project organization. Important is also to understand critical success factors for an IT project.
The student will get acquainted with the agile SCRUM method that is used by the school in Project Learning in the ICT Forge.

The student will get acquainted with Ms Project .
