Learning Outcomes

Student understands the principles of image processing and graphic design. He/she is able to use image processing and graphic design software in order to process images, design graphics and produce web content.

Student manages the use of content management systems for the web: installation and configuration, legacy systems, content and user management and maintenance; producing and maintaining web content; management and maintenance of the system; developer communities.

Student is able to use XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Contents

The basic of digital image processing. The basics of graphical design. Programming of dynamic web pages with XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Content management tools.

Assessment Criteria

1 = Student understands and is able to use the HTML and CSS standard in order to implement a web site and understands the basics of digital image processing
3 = Student understands and is able to use the HTML and CSS standard and has the basic skills in JavaScript programming language in order to implement a web site with dynamical features and understands the basics of digital image processing
5 = Student is able to utilize aforementioned techniques and standards and is able to implement a web site using a CMS

Assessment Methods

Exercises, Exam, and Assignment. Numerical assessment (0-5).
