Contents

TCP/IP–technology . Components, structure and function of TCP/IP networks. Connecting local area networks to each other with a router. Configuring a router. Designing networks, cabling and IP-addresses. Controlling TCP/IP networks.
Remote control. Network security.

Lessons, problem solving, working in groups on projects, independent studies.

Assessment Criteria

1 = The student aquires the knowledge of theory for solving basic exercises and is able to solve basic exercises.
3 = The student is able to solve more difficult exercises by using the theory.
5= The student is able to apply the knowledge and develope own models for solving exercises.

Assessment Methods

Continuous assessment, tasks and tests and the student's ability to solve problems and work in groups on projects. Numerical assessment (0-5).
