The student learns the basic structure of computers, their basic components and how computers work.
Contents
The history of computers. The basic structure of computer, processor, chipset, system memory, hard disks, PCI, PCI-X, PCI Express, AGP graphics cards, monitors, networking, printers.

Lectures and project. In the project students design LAN/WAN and computer solution of small-sized company.
