Learning Outcomes

The student creates an understanding of the ITC profession and its ethics. S/he also learns to take ethical questions into account in her/his work The student learns about the local IT enterprises by visiting some of the companies in the area..

Contents

Working in the information technology branch, ethical values, the responsibility of an individual and companies. Environmental ethics.

Recommended or Required Reading and Other Learning Resources/Tools

Books and other material is to be announced in the beginning of the course. Electronic material is in the Moodle environment.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

A summary dealing with ICT ethics.
Preparing to seminar that presents IT companies. Net based teaching.

Assessment Criteria

Presentation delaling with a local ICT company and at least 2/3 assignments shall be finished.

Based onb the results of workshops using pass/fail. Presentation delaling with a local ICT company and at least 2/3 assignments shall be finished.
