Learning Outcomes

The student is able to understand professional texts and spoken language of his own field. He is also able to communicate in English in oral and written situations common in working life. In addition, he extends his vocabulary in information technology and business. The student has a positive attitude towards continuous and independent acqusition of better language skills. The students understands that professional language register differs from other language registers.

Assessment Criteria

1= The student is able to understand and follow the main idea of a text/conversation in his/her filed and attempts to participate. The student knows the essential vocabulary of the field.
3= The student understands, follows and produces text/conversation in his/her field with some inaccuracies. The student knows the common vocabulary of the field.
5= The student communicates without difficulty in topics of his/her field. The student posses an extensive vocabulary in his/her field and in general. The stune has an interest in improving his/her skills all the time.
