Learning Outcomes

Student can participate with expertise in the planning and development work when the data communication needs of an enterprise are considered. The comprehensive strategy of an enterprise and the fast technological advancement of the industry are especially taken into consideration. The development of judgement in case-by-case situations.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

Data Communications course.

The advancement of data communications industry and how it affects entreprneurial
activity.The course covers distributed networks, office- groupware applications,e business, security and the criteria for selecting telecommunications solutions.

Visiting lecturers are used on the course as much as possible.

Lessons, problem solving, working in groups on projects, independent studies

Assessment Criteria

1 - Student understand basic concepts of the network.
3 - Student can develop the network of a company.
5 - Student can be a expert member of the team that develop the network of a company.

Assessment Methods

Continuous assessment, tasks and tests and the student's ability to solve problems and work in groups on projects. Numerical assessment (0-5).
