Learning Outcomes

Students know the basic terminology and the management pracises of databases for multi-user environment. Students understand the importance of good database design. They can create a database and its objects and carry out the basic administration tasks.

Contents

The terminology of relational databases and advanced use of SQL. Client-server databases. Creating a multi user database. User management. Stored procedures. Triggers and alerts. Backups and restoring.

Planning, creating and managing SQL Server databases.
