Learning Outcomes

The students understands the possibilities and challenges of innovation management. The student deepens his/her knowledge related to product and service development and available methods. The student learns to exploit his/her ideas and research knowledge in the development of his/her own company or organization.

Basic concepts of innovation management, organization, process and strategy, creative ideation methods, research on product development and service design, market orientation and concept design

1 The student understands the basics of innovation management

3 the student understands well the core of innovation management and can apply learned issues in practice

5 the student has an excellent understanding of innovation management, its possibilities and challenges and can to a great extent apply the learned issues in practice

Assessment Methods

Alternative ways to conduct: Innobook OR Company task. The specific contents of these alternatives are desribed in the beginning of the course.
