Learning Outcomes

The student will attain writing and speaking skills in Swedish language required in one’s profession, as stipulated by The Language Decree 6.6.2003/424 .
The student has a readiness to cope in the customer service and negotiation situations in Swedish. The student can read professional texts in Swedish and able to communicate in Swedish taking into account the significance of Swedish skills in her/his profession in a bilingual country and in the Nordic context.

The assesment of student´s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons

Customer service situations, negotiations, professional texts and communication situations.

Regional Impact

The student will be introduced to business life in her/his own field in Swedish.

Internationality

The student will be introduced through language studies to the business life and the characteristics of business culture in the Nordic countries.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Blended learning: independent studying online, AC meetings, speaking and writing assignments and exercises.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 5:
The student manages well in various work-related situations and uses structures correctly. The student knows an extensive vocabulary of the field. The student has a positive attitude towards language learning.
Grade 3: The student manages satisfactorily in most usual work-related situations and uses structures and phrases, with occasional mistakes. The student uses the vocabulary leartn during the study unit. The attitude totards language learning is positive.
Grade 1: The student is able to participate in most usual work-related situations ja uses simple structures and single words in communications. The student knows part of the vocabulary leartn during the study unit. The student has a positive attitude towards language learning.
