Learning Outcomes

The student can prepare cash flow statements needed in companies and evaluate the financial efficiency gained by using them. He/she knows how to find and use various financing sources.

Contents

To understand the importance of financial planning in a business enterprise, basic areas and problems of finance, different forms and characteristics of equity and capital financing, the need for and calculation of working capital, forecasting cash flows and utilization of cash discounts, investment calculations for planning purposes, preparation of cash flow statements by using the direct and indirect methods in accordance with the directives provided by the Accounting Board.
