Learning Outcomes

The students can design the small information system and make the documents.

This project is the first real project and students can practice their knowledge and skills. A group of students develop a small-sized application. Students learn software designing, teamwork and documentation technique.

Contents

Theory about blueprints for systems and life cycle thinking for software. Component based analyse and design. Modeling use cases with UML.

Design of a database application and its implementation using Microsoft Access. The design and implementation work is done in small groups as projects and the final solution consists of design documents and the database application.
