Learning Outcomes

The goal is to give the student(s) the possibility to put her/his knowledge into practice. The intention with the project work is to improve both professional skills and skills to work in teams.

Basics of Project Management (course: Projektledning och administration) or corresponding knowledge

Contents

Each project is unique. When a student is assigned to a project he/she will get a specification where the goals for the project are explained and that will be the starting point. In some cases it is necessary to discuss the specifikations with the assigner/customer in order to get the whole picture.

For larger projects (> 27h) it is necessary to draw up a more detalied project plan but for smaller assignments a written job description will do.

The litterature or teaching aids can´t be specified here because they are unique for each project.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Independent project work and weekly coaching, project diary, project based learning, project reports both orally and in writing.

Assessment Criteria

The evaluation and grading scale is discussed and agreed to separatly for each project. An approved projects is graded either with "Passed" or using the scale 1 - 5.

Evaluation areas: The result, the ability to analyze the the problems, methods of working, ability to work in the team, ability to plan and keep the timetabel, the level in reporting both orally and in writing. Furthermore project specific matters could be taken into consideration.

Assessment Methods

The evaluation methods and grading is discussed separatly for each project. The credits will be registred only after a student application where the project report and the project diary are enclosed.

The evaluation is registred using the grades 1 -5 or just "Passed".
