Learning Outcomes
The student acquires knowledge of different scientific philosophies and methods of searching a collecting information. The student understands the importance of methodoligical and scientific way of working. The student can implement different methods when writing the final thesis.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses
The student should have completed most of her/his basic studies and at least the first module of her/his specialized studies. It is expected that the student will choose the subject for her/his own thesis.
Contents
Scientific working methods, final thesis as a process, the planning of final thesis, information sources, research methods, questionnaires, analysing and reporting research results.
