Learning Outcomes
The student will acquire the basic methodology for seeking and analyzing specialized information for writing essays and reports and conducting surveys and research projects typical for bachelor level. The student is able to evaluate the validity and reliability of results.

Contents
Information search and criteria for scientific knowledge. Research process. Definition of the research problem. Research strategies, methods and ethics. Validity and reliability. Reporting of research results. Planning of personal project for final thesis.

Assessment Criteria
5 The student can consistently utilize and discuss research methodology at bachelor level. In assignments and report writing, the student uses various methods for information retrieval and appropriate and latest international sources in the field, by strictly following copyright rules and obligations. In classroom discussions and teamwork, the student is acting and communicating professionally in various groups.
