The study unit will make students acquainted with computer networks and give them necessary skills in using the Internet.

Contents

Participation in the study unit will make the student familiar with the Internet and its various services included search engines, netiquette, IP phone and data security. Also basics of image processing will be covered as well as scanning and transferring images from digital cameras. The student will also get acquainted with making Web pages.

Assessment Criteria

The student can:
5. Use independently various problem solving methods and choose appropriate information sources for the situation. Can act as an expert in limited areas of the field.
