Learning Outcomes

Student:
- understand the importance of healthy and safe work
- understand the main regulations and regulations governing occupational health care
- understand the basics of the occupational health compensation system
- understand the impact of physical, biological and chemical exposures on health
- understand the prevention of physical and mental stressors in different industries
- understand the need to write sick in occupational health care and occupational health-focused nursing
- is able to plan and participate in supervised work visits in different fields
- is able to perform health examinations in a supervised manner and provide information, advice and guidance.
- is able to work in a multi-professional work community in order to maintain the work and functional capacity of the staff and occupational safety
- masters the main working methods of nursing in occupational health care

- gets acquainted with digital tools in occupational health care.

Student's Workload

The total workload of the student is 160 hours. Alternatively, it is possible to do 152 hours and in addition to actively participate in the discussion on the Moodle platform on the themes given by the teacher.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

All previous training, except for advanced training. In addition, an occupational health care course must be completed.

Regional Impact

This goal of the internship is to contribute to the strengthening of co-operation based on working life. The aim is to enable students to be employed in occupational health care positions and to have access to employees in occupational health care.
