Learning Outcomes
The student can rate an electric motor according to the requirements of the assignment, can implement the protection and control of an electric motor using conventional or smart motor starters, protection relays and frequency converters. The student can design and implement the control and monitoring functions for a motor using a PLC system and can utilise frequency converters in the special control of motors. The student can implement the control room functions required by the entity in question with the help of PC and panel displays.
