Learning Outcomes
The student obtains the basics of electric motors and their mains connections, as well as motor control with various converters, such as the frequency converter. The student gets familiar with the mechanics of rotations ans can rate motors for the most usual applications. The student understands the transients and harmonics of current and voltage in drives. The student will be involved in project work and can write a project report.
