Learning Outcomes

The student is familiar with the most usual principles of implementation in electrical design and installation related to the electrification of buildings. The student is familiar with the principles related to lighting planning and device selection. The student attains the basic knowledge required in electrical design for houses.

The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses

Computer aided electrical design.

Contents

Applying directives of authorities, standards and other instructions in installations and contracting. Structures of electrical and telecommunication networks in houses, principles of design, installations methods, inspections of installations. Basics of illumination engineering, light sources, structures of light fitting. Standards of equipment, design documents, electrical specifications and contracting documents.
